Personal attention is given to every one of the up to 18 finishing steps of hand rubbing the wood to a deep, rich patina, and then waxing. The door glass is then fitted into its intricate frame; each has a special retainer molding which secures the glass in place and allows for easy removal for replacement if ever needed. The brass door lock hardware and accent pieces are attached, the four floor levelers secured, and the side access doors on the crown are covered with fretwork grills wrapped in speaker cloth to resonate the rich chimes.
